Using My Own Aloe Vera Plant

I have an Aloe Vera plant and was wondering if anyone knows of a 'recipe' for hand or face cream using this plant. So many creams, lotions and potions in the shops have it in them I thought someone may have a tip for making my own.

Aloe vera plant has been used for fighting dandruff. A few Asian women whom I know, put it on there damp head and leave on for 15 minutes, then wash. Very silky, smooth & dandruff free hair. (01/22/2005)

For minor burns, (redness only), and grazes you can just snap a leaf off and dab directly onto the wound - very soothing. (01/22/2005)

Using My Own Aloe Vera Plant

After I had my knees replaced, I bought an aloe vera plant and placed it in the bathroom. After my bath, I would just break off a leaf and rub it on the scar. You can hardly tell where the incision was. The surgeon was amazed. (01/28/2005)
