Using a Phone Number Parking Service?

I'm looking for a way to reduce the cost of a phone service I rarely use. Right now I'm paying my phone company about $30 per month to keep a number active that rings about 10 times a month. While looking for a solution, I found ParkNBlend - www.parknblend.com. This service allows you to forward calls to another number or have them go to voicemail.

The service is only $6.99/mo (taxes and fees included) and seems like a safe and affordable way to keep my number active. Has anyone used ParkNBlend or another number parking service. I'll probably end up parking my number anyways, but would like some feedback if the community has used it as a way to save money.
