The Vermont Foodbank is a good resource for holiday meal assistance.

The Mitten Tree, sponsored by WCAX news channel, provides area residents in need with hats, scarves, mittens and socks. The clothing drive is viewer supported.

The WSYB Christmas Fund has been serving needy families in the Rutland community since 1972. The Christmas Fund raises funds during the Christmas season to provide aid to the less fortunate in Rutland County during the holidays.
