Determining How Much Food To Make. My daughter is getting married in July 2007. Due to budget constraints to all involved, I will be preparing the food for the reception and the groom's mother is preparing the food for the rehearsal dinner.
Here is a spectacular hors d'oeuvre for any fancy occasion. I took this picture at my friends wedding. My best friends little sister Rachel made them! They are strawberries with milk chocolate and white chocolate coating (suiting).
All parents with daughters know just how expensive planning a wedding can be. There seems to be an endless list of expenses. One of the best tips I can share is to order your cake as early as possible. My daughter is getting married in June and we ordered her cake in January. This allowed us to pay the small deposit and then make small payments until the cake was paid for! Much easier than paying the lump sum all at once!

Some Dollar Stores carry the round party platters with covers. Check store ads for party platters and make your own with items that are on sale. It may be cheaper that way than buying ready made.

We have a main course but I would like some inexpensive salad ideas for 100 people. We would like to do two different salads, one of them can have meat but one of them needs to be vegetarian. Any ideas? Thanks - Sam
