What Breed Is My Dog?

What Breed Is My Dog?My dog is 60lbs, at 18 months, and he's long and skinny. He is mostly black with patches of white. We believe he is a terrier, or part Lab, but we are unsure.

I would definitely say a lab mix. At that size and with his long face, I would guess lab mixed with with a larger breed dog like a Great Dane or something. It's always a guess... some dogs take after the mother, some after the father and often the parents are also a mix so you start to get 4+ breeds involved. I have friends that work in vet offices and even they say most the time they're just guessing. The only way to know for sure is to have a DNA test done. LOL! I know a gal that did the DNA test and her dog that looks like an Australian Shepherd mix came back mostly Beagle mixed with Shepherd and a few other breeds.

Any chance he's like a lab... smooth fox terrier mix? His face and ears reminded me of a smooth fox terrier, who often are also spotted... Might be worth looking into?
