What Breed is My Dog?

My gorgeous boy Pasha is the best thing that ever happened to me! He's sweet, funny and smart. When I first got him, they told me he was a pure breed, but I doubt it. Do you guys have any idea what mix he is?

Just from the face he doesn't look like a mix to me.

Sometimes he looks to me "very German Shepherd" but some other times I see a mix, maybe Doberman? He's very elegant and poised, but I think he's very small to be a GS (9 months, 50 pounds). His face is pointy and thin, more and more every day. How do you determine if he's only German Shepherd?

What a beautiful pure bred shephard you have. THe feet and the "eagle eye" expression on his face are givaways of his breed.

IT's German Shepherd. The breed that I adore. Yes, they are adorable, will be your best friend. They are great babysitters, (believe it or not); extremely intelligent, love human company and eager to please. My baby, (Max 11yrs. old passed away in 2004), was the best that ever happened to me too. I was really sick with depression, and every time he saw me lying down in bed, went up to me to lick my face, and literally pulled me out of the bed and to the backyard, (BELIEVE IT); he made me hug him, kiss him, and made me play with him.

If I am alive today it's because of him. I owe him my life. The only bad thing? Yes, there was one: very lazy; but I and my family never care about it. He was our baby. Love him, please give him a kiss for me. Maria

He is beautiful and he is a German Shepherd. I have one that is 3 years old and looks just like him his name is Bear. They are wonderful dogs. I got him for protection & I have known others that had them so knew I would like him

I would say definitely German Shepard, but his ears seem larger and stick up more than German Shepard's usually do. Maybe Doberman?

Funny. I was going to say Shep/Doberman If he isn't done growing yet he may indeed be pure bred just not filled out as of yet. He is gorgeous and you say he is a great dog so shouldn't make a difference really. We have all mutts here lol. Be well!
