We rescued this Lady in December of 2008 from a dog pound. She is a beautiful 2 year old dog. Her prior owner said she was a Pharoah Hound Mix. She is very active, very smart, well mannered, and extremely affectionate to people. We have decided to take her to a dog trainer who expressed that she didn't think Lady was part Pharoah and thought she was more of an Alaskan Akita mix?

He looks like he has Lab because of the knot on his head and he HAS Shepard ears. He's a real cutie!

I would say definitely pharoah lab/shepherd mix...so adorable! Akitas have more hair and curly tails, they are not really streamlined like this!
Also Pharoah Hounds look like a cross between a Doberman and a German Shepherd. They are so unusually sleek!
The proper name of the 'pharaoh hound' breed by the way is Ibizan, if you wanted to know - your dog is athletic looking and beautiful! Great photos.
Actually, Pharaohs and Ibizans are two slightly different breeds dogs.petbreeds.com/
