There seems to be something seriously wrong with this plant. The leaves have become distorted. Too little light, too much or too little or the wrong food, pests or disease? I don't know.

Here's what I'm guessing: Someone has planted citrus seed in this pot. The few healthy leaves appear to be that of the Tangerine. Take one of the leaves and crush it between your fingers and thumb. If it is a tangerine, the leaves will emit a very pleasant Tangerine scent.

I believe this plant is infested with either aphids or mites, more likely, mites. Take a magnifying glass and look closely for very small, very slow moving insects on the undersides of the leaves.

As small as this plant is, you can control insects with soapy dish water. Sponge the leaves with this water once a day til you're sure the infestation is cured.

Even if I am wrong, this plant is begging for sunlight. Give it as much light as you possibly can til Spring. Then, it should be placed outside in full sun.

Please post back and let me know what you think. I hope I have offered something to help you save this plant. If you do find this plant to be a citrus, you can find all you'll need to know about it's care, on the Internet.

I purchased this plant at market basket it has no tangerine smell. I have moved the plant to a well lit spot and will try sponging with soapy water. I have noticed little fruit fly type bugs in soil.

I lightly sprayed top soil with light coat to see if helps. I will also try willing leaves with sponge. Thanks for the tips

Hello !
You could brush the soil a little bit to see what is at the foot of each plant. I think it looks like a plant grown from a pit. If you find what is left of the pit maybe you could identify it. Peach tree leaves have a natural tendency to curl.

Hope this helps !
