I believe that it is a succulent plant. A variety of Jade to be more specific. Water sparingly. Make sure the soil is very dry before watering and do not saturate the soil. They like loose airy soil. Typically half soil half perlite or vermiculite.
It's a little "leggy". You can start new plants by making a clean cut of a stem about 3". Let the end of the stem end dry out/form a callous over the cut end, by leaving it in a warm, dry spot like a window sill. This takes about 1-2 weeks. Then plant it in the half and half soil mixture and only dampen the soil. Once a root has formed, let the soil dry out before watering. You can also start a new plant by snipping off one of the leaves and leaving it lay on top of the soil. Since you are not putting it into the soil, it will develop the callous while laying there. Eventually it will root and sprout new leaves. Jade plants should flower in the winter, but mine has never.
