What Kind of Dog is This?

2 days ago I came across a man offering a puppy at the bus station. The puppy was smelly and its fur was rough in random places. But it was too cute to just leave it so I gave the man 100$ and took her home. I fed her and gave her a bath and tried to get a picture of her to show LOL that was soooo hard. Her tail is very short. I'm not sure at all if it was born that way, but I hope to get some opinions. Thank You Puppy on blanket.

Holy cow is that puppy cute or what? She looks like a genuine Heinz 57 to me, looks as though there is some Lab (ears and colour), some German Shepherd (paws and leg colours), maybe some Border Collie too (again maybe the ears instead of Lab, colours, head-muzzle shape, and longer hair).

Since you were able to splash out $100 to rescue her from the seller it sounds as though you can also afford a visit to the vet - the vet will be able to tell you more about what breeds are in her, plus scan her for a chip...sadly sometimes puppies and dogs offered for sale the way your was turn out to be stolen.

The vet will also check her for parasites and congenital defects - if she wasn't stolen she may have come from a 'puppy mill' or backyard breeder, and as such may have worms or other parasites, hip or heart problems, or illness.

In the pics she seems bright and alert but better safe than sorry. As part of her vet check she'll also be given age-appropriate vaccinations to protect her from the various communicable diseases (Parvo, rabies of course, distemper, etc).

She really is sweet and we all love her to pieces. We didn't get to the vet yet but have an appointment Saturday. She is growing so fast and seems very happy.

Seems she is camera shy. We still can't get very good pics of her (big brat). Thank you so much for your message it gives me a little idea of her mix. :)

This looks just like my pup Schautzie that I rescued a few months ago. The shelter said she was predominately Rottweiler but the vet I use disagreed. I have been trying to determine what breeds she is ever since! She is about 6 months old now and 35 lbs.

Wow So cute! She does look just like my Dog! Mine never did get very big. She looks about the size of your dog!
