Ironing for a few seconds with a dry iron through 2 thicknesses of a T-shirt always works for me when it comes to removing white heat or water marks from furniture. (05/18/2009)

To think the reason for the problem in the first place was also the remedy to the problem! I ruined my dining room table by using it as a quickie ironing board. Using a t shirt with a dry hot iron didn't work, so I tried the peanut butter tip, which didn't work either. I reread the instructions and used a folded white t shirt, an iron on medium setting with steam, and the results are amazing. My table is not quite back back to it's original standard so I may try again, but the pics speak for themselves! Thanks. (08/29/2009)
