I don't think worming could cause blood in the stool. However it is a huge red flag for PARVO. Parvo is a very serious disease young puppies can get that can be fatal really fast. Get your puppy directly to a vet.

When I was a little girl, my puppy died from Parvo. I am 30 now and adopted a doggie and have been his keeper for 2 years. I will never see another doggie die from this ever. It is a horrible death. The puppy will be sick and lay around and do nothing so catch it before it's too late.

I agree purpleswiper and it could be hook worms and either is a life and death deal with a puppy that size.
