Yarn Wrapped Bottle Vase

yellow yarn wrapped bottle with flower This is a project to convert any old bottle into a stylish bottle vase/holder using only glue and yarn! The end result is lovely and extremely easy to make. I hope everyone tries it!

Total Time: 10 minutes

Supplies:

1 old bottle
roll of yarn
glue

Steps:

Start from the bottom of the bottle. Apply glue around the circumference and start winding the yarn around it. Make sure to wind it tight and close.

Repeat the gluing and winding till the whole bottle is covered. It's that simple!

You can use it as a vase for moneyplants or just to store some decorative flowers.

This is a great way to upcycle an ordinary bottle using everyday stuff. It is cheap and easy to make. I hope you all liked it!

How cute! Your vases almost look as if they're nestled in baskets. What type of glue do you recommend for this project?

hi! i'm glad you liked it,please do vote for it.
Basically, use any glue which you find at home. i only had a resin-ish glue at home so i used that for the bigger vase bottle. For covering the smaller bottle though, i used normal white pva glue. that worked really well too.

Just remember to wind the yarn tight while winding.

I love the idea! Maybe a spray glue from the craft store. You could spray over it when you are finished.
