Check out these photos.
This is a photo of an antique rake we have in our yard near the pond. I usually have mums and flowers of all sorts growing through-out the year around this nice piece of history.
This picture was taken in January of 2006 in our front yard in Scottsdale, Arizona - where it "never" snows. We heard rain and headed for the windows to take a look since it doesn't rain much either.
A early snow storm snuck up on us here on the farm. This is the view from my back porch, of the beauty of nature. Of course if you're driving to work today, you wouldn't share my views.
We had a wonderful Christmas Day snow this year! It really made our holiday even more special! Everyone had an extra warm smile this Christmas!
This is a picture I took of another snow storm that hit us, it was taken in the back yard. Now you can feel spring in the air. Yeah!
We are getting snow here in Hull (UK) like my kids have never seen. Today we went sledging. My eldest is 9 and it's the first time she's ever been sledging.
There isn't much snow on the ground, but the home park we live in doesn't have too many places for kids to play. As you can see, there is a small hill behind our house and after a snowfall, it attracts many children.
This is the first big snow of the year for us and unusually early. We ended up with over a foot. It made some beautiful black and white pictures though.
Too late to fly south! We have snow and freezing weather along the east coast. This looked so real on my patio, like two birds frozen in time.
Last winter, I was lucky enough to spend some quality time in Chewelah, WA. The views from in and around the town are really beautiful.
This is one of my favourite corners in the garden to sit and read or enjoy a glass of wine, but of course now that it is wintertime "My Garden Hibernates".
Mother Nature really blasted us this past week, though it makes it dangerous for those who have to work outside and the animals who suffer with the cold and snow if one looks hard enough there is Beauty in the Destruction.
We got six inches of snow overnight then fog formed on the river, and the trees look like they are reaching for the morning sun.
When the blizzard ended everything was like a photograph outside. I took several pictures, but the top of the trees were perfect all by themselves so did a panoramic view.
The view from the window this morning was veiled by feathery clumps of snow. You can just make out the treeline and the sun coming over the horizon if you look closely enough.
Since we don't get six inches of snow here in Georgia, I couldn't resist this picture of my red barn in the back yard.
I love snow, especially when it comes in a couple of inches and is gone in a few days. Here in central North Carolina, we get so excited when the weather man predicts snow.
My grandson, Logan having fun times in the snow! He was making his first snow angel. It was a beautiful, crisp night and we made it in front of our window, so we could see it from inside the house.
Here is the last of the big snowfalls in early 2011! This was taken from a small opening in my back door. The snow was deep, but the drifting up against the front door kept me from opening it.
Snow storms are dangerous, but among the danger lurks some beauty, one just has to look for it. The drifts are so graceful yet deceiving.
We don't have much snow here during winter, but once Christmas and New Year have passed, we're anxious to see green again.
This storm led new meaning to the phrase, "Snowed In" when my husband had to start shoveling from inside of the house. What a surprise to wake up to when we opened the door and there was approximately 3 1/5 foot of snow on our deck effectively "snowing us in".
Having only lived in Missouri for less than 2 years, this is one of my first "real" winters! The snow is very pretty and so peaceful looking.
The day my boyfriend took me to McLure Park. I think he knew that I associated that park with sadness, humiliation and pain, due to a previous bad experience with a person that I cared about and trusted.
In some of the pictures you can see some pictures I took in New York (the ones with the tall buildings). In some others, you can see some snow on the ground. And you can see the sunset.
Somehow, our area missed an early frost. It sure as heck didn't miss an early snow. I know the children are happy.
We weren't supposed to get much snow yesterday, but it continued all day. This morning when I looked out the window, I was treated to this beautiful scene!
Our southern city has a blanket of snowfall on it; it is pristine and the objects in the yard are so pretty with their snowfall blanket. My homemade gazing ball has a cap of snow on it. The gazing ball sits atop a bird bath which is filled with snow.
This picture was taken on March 5, 2011. As you can see there is still plenty of deep snow here in Nova Scotia; even with having had 48 cm (19 inches) of rain the other night. Eventually the snow will disappear and along will come our spring and hot summer.
This is a picture of my garden when it snowed in AL. We don't get snow very often here, the snow and flood stunted the garden, but it could be worse.
This is Jack a friend of mine, who can hardly wait for the New England winter weather. He loves to "snow blow" friend's and neighbor's driveways and paths as soon as it starts snowing.

Winter did not come to Nova Scotia until January. Now we have huge amounts of snow and very cold weather most days.
Our first snow of the season and it was so exciting to jump out of bed and look out the window.
