I adopted this delightful boy in May. Unfortunately, he had a case of ringworm, I later realized, and had to be quarantined in one small room for seven, long weeks. Poor boy!
Hunter loves to watch TV. He watches the TV whenever it's on; he likes to watch videos for cats. He's an indoor cat. He has one favorite toy that he loves to play with. It is the one with the balls inside a ring and it makes a noise likes the birdies sing.
My husband found Frankie and his two siblings at a foreclosed house when they were about 4 weeks old. Frankie likes to torment people and animals! He has an inquisitive, fun-loving nature and is perpetually in a "terrible two's" stage. He chases anything that moves and seems to find wonder in everything.
This is my daughter's pet cat. She got her from a shelter.
Annie showed up at our door, starving and pregnant over two years ago.
Baby is 20 years old. She is a domestic short hair. After my mother died my husband wanted to give me someone to love and care for. We got her from the Humane Society, She was 6 months old at the time. Right now, she loves to sleep more than anything.
I adopted him from someone who after having him 12 years decided he was "too shy", and had threatened to drop him off at the pound.
She showed up at my door and stayed. My lil Annie sits next to (or on me) on the couch most days, especially if I'm feeling sick. So I could almost swear she is trying to make me laugh sometimes when I look over to find her sticking her tongue out for no apparent reason! She just makes me laugh!
About 11 years ago a pregnant calico cat came to my home in search of food, water, and shelter. My dad made a wooden house for my backyard deck where she gave birth just a few weeks later to five beautiful kittens. I decided to keep the black and white male since he was the first one to use the litter box.
I found Tom and his sister Geri after leaving a friend's house. My friend lives in a rural area surrounded mostly by vineyards. It had been pouring rain on and off for 2 days and it was sprinkling. About half a mile down the road I noticed a small cardboard box a few feet from the side of the road.
Tia is an 8 year old short hair domestic feline. When my husband and I got married we decided to adopt a kitten from the Humane Society.
All kitties should have their own fish tank! My cat's name is Ramsey. I named him after chef Gordon Ramsey because I love to cook and Ramsey can be a little hellion. He is 2 years old and a domestic shorthair.
We got Cupcake in 2005 as a rescue, she was a few years old at the time. She came straight up to my 1 year old daughter to get some love, so I knew she was the perfect cat for our family.
These little ones are our babies, we are adopting out this season. Right now they like paper balls and anything they find on the floor to play with by chasing.
We joke that we bought a cat and got a free house. The previous owners were going to "dispose of him", but look at that face? He was only about a year old and sneezing blood on the back door window so off to the vet he went for a full exam. We had him fixed and de-wormed. He was immunized and moved indoors.
I took in a mother kitty and Essie was one of her kittens (I kept them all!)
These are two of my cats, Princess and Tigger, napping with my son.
Bella is a five year old Domestic Shorthair. We adopted Bella at the SPCA. When we adopted Bella, I was asked if I wanted her tested for FIV and FELV(feline AIDS and feline leukemia).
Checkers was a feral cat that showed up in my garage wearing a steel jaw trap on his right front foot. He lost the foot, but has become a wonderful companion and is now a spoiled house cat.
I found this "Lovemuffin" on Craig's list; she was looking for her furever home. She's been my girl for well over 10 years, and I love her cantankerous character.
I got him from the RSPCA when he was about 18 months old. I brought home some fruit from the market in this cardboard box a week ago and it's been cluttering up the floor of my kitchen since, because it's become Oscar's favourite day (and night) bed since it arrived. I just have to wait for him to get sick of it.
We adopted Ibby from a cat rescue when he was 8 weeks old. Ibby loved cat nip, food, purring and kissing Mommy. He also sat up on his back legs to look around, like a prairie dog. Running laps at 4 a.m. was his exercise and he did it with gusto!
Annie showed up at our house one day, pregnant and hungry. She's been here since.
We got Harry as a rescue from a shelter in Latrobe, Pensylvania 11 years ago.
I found Kylo walking down my block I took him home to surprise my Son Isaiah. He was only one month old. We (me and my three sons) love him so much.
We got him almost 6 years ago at a local animal shelter. He loves to sleep all the time, but he also likes to watch birds out the window, play with toy mice, and eat.
She found us. She likes to catch wild things and leave them outside the kitchen door.
We adopted Patton from our local Humane Society at a pet store event. He was about 9 months old. We hadn't intended to bring home a cat, but my two young boys were thrilled. My older cat, Desire, was not!
She showed up on my porch. Climbing her cat tree is fun for her.
Zero frequently sits like this and my husband couldn't help but put a remote control on him. :) He is a very large cat, weighing over 20 lbs, so we lovingly refer to him as the cow cat!
I saw her online from my local Humane Society and she had been relocated to a pet store as a last ditch effort to get adopted. She adored basking in the sun and cuddling, that was complete fun for her.
She was rescued from our local shelter. She chases her shadow and knocks food out of her bowl. It is her job to clear off every table and desk in our home.
