Swim Party Ideas
My 14 year old daughter wanted to have a pool party for her birthday. Her birthday is in February, so she waited till summer. We have a pool in our back yard. We have decided on a Luau theme, but I'm not sure what activities they should do.

Homemade Masks for a Masquerade Party
I'm planning a masquerade ball for my 17th birthday! The only problem is, I live in a small town and I'm not sure if all my guests can get masks. The closest place is an hour away! I feel bad making masks mandatory, but I really want everyone to be masked.

White and Red Plastic Serving Plates for a Variety of Occasions
I have found that buying plain plastic serving plates and platters at the dollar store are well worth the investment. I have bought them in white and in red. With two sons, it seems that many birthday themes incorporate red (baseball, Spiderman, etc.).

Ask for Gifts for Others at Your Party
Every year, I have a Christmas open house and invite everyone on my Christmas card list. It is a blast. Only thing is, I always ended up with several bottles of wine or liquor (we do not drink) and a ton of boxes of candy which I really didn't need.
