Finding Toys for Tiny Dogs
Both my mother and my best friend have tiny dogs. They have a hard time finding toys for these small dogs. Anyone have any suggestions?

Flavoring Old Dog Bones
My dog has some perfectly good dog bones (the chewy type you buy at the pet store) but he prefers the new $6.00 ones straight out of the package. Am thinking there may be something I can dip them in that will have a non-staining healthy flavored coating. Suggestions?

Dog Treats to Put in Kong Toy
My dog has a Kong toy (www.kongcorporation.com), size large, red which we purchased at the Kroger grocery store. Also sold at PetCo. Suggestions for low cost replacement crackers?

Inexpensive Fleece Dog Toy
By Kelli Mahoney
Heading out to a pet care store to buy your dog toys gets expensive. These toys are easy to make. You can use different material, make different shapes, and each toy can cost you less than a dollar!

Chew Toy Advice
My 10-month-old female dachshund loves to chew on shoes (other things, too, but mostly shoes). We have changed our habits by ensuring that our shoes are out of reach, but it's difficult to communicate this importance to guests who visit for extended periods.

Peanut Butter in a Kong Toy
Want to keep your dog or puppy busy for a half hour? Fill a Kong toy with peanut butter and put it in the freezer. This is a perfect treat for a hot day or for when guests come over and you need to keep the dog off of them! The p.b. is good for the dog and it keeps their old toy interesting too.

Pet Toy Netting Under Couches
If you are like me and have a problem with disappearing pet toys under your furniture especially couches, pick up some plastic gutter netting and cut it in half. Turn your couch up and staple-gun the netting from leg to leg INSIDE of the couch.

Sock Bottle Dog Toy
My dog loves to chew on empty 20-ounce pop bottles, so I made an inexpensive variation of that. Take a 20-ounce pop bottle, drop a couple of dried beans inside, and put the cap on tightly.

Denim Dog Toy
I had some leftover denim from shortening a pair of jeans, so I stitched up two pieces which made a tube about 3-inches by 6-inches. I stuffed this tube with some craft stuffing I already had and stitched the last side closed. My dog had a good time chewing on this and shaking it around in her teeth.
