Save Dog Fluff for the Birds
At this time of year, your dog will be starting to shed its winter coat. Save all the 'fluff' and hair you remove and put it in hedges or wherever is handiest. The birds love it for lining their nests!

Use Baby Wipes to Keep Dogs Fresh Between Baths
To keep my toy chihuahua smelling good in between her baths , I rub her down with a baby wipe. She will smell so good after that, and her skin will not be dried out from bathing to often.

You Don't Have to Spend $20 for Your Dog's Nails
Seeing the Pediaws on TV made me want to have one for my Chinese pug. She has very sharp claws and for some reason it is her joy to scratch the living day lights out my legs. But it is just my laziness that causes the sharp nails.

My Dog Has Bad Breath - What Do I Do?
My dog is a 14 yr. old terrier mix. While I love him dearly, I have a very limited income and cannot afford high vet care. Do you have any low cost suggestions for dealing with his bad breath?

Cleaning a Hairbrush or Dog Brush
Once I've pulled out as much of the trapped hair from the brush with my fingers as possible, I take an envelope opener and run the pointed end through the brush's "lanes", pulling the embedded hair up to the top of the bristles.

Tips for Bathing a Cat
My cat, Teddy, is impossible to bathe. Although normally cats do not require a bath, he sometimes seems to get dirty using his litter box and then smells, albeit rarely this happens.

Dealing with Shedding Problems
We have a very lovable Feist, but what we don't love is she sheds! We have doggy hair on everything! I have to vacuum the furniture everyday at least once a day. Does anyone out there have a solution to our baby's shedding problem?

Place Dog Hair In Your Yard For Nesting Material
Don't throw away all that hair that you brush off your dog. I place mine in the yard and the squirrels, chipmunks and birds go crazy using it for nesting materials.
