| How Much Do Wedding Flowers Cost?
I am planning a spring wedding. I need a lot of stuff and I was wondering on the prices for flowers. I need 14 boutonnières and 8 corsages and two center pieces for the church all real and then fake 7 boutonnières. The colors are cornflower blue and yellow and I don't know what flowers I want.

| Using Dried Lavender For Your Wedding
My daughter is crafty and she was able to buy a huge amount of high quality - semi dried lavender, on eBay for less then $100.00 total. She was able to make table decorations with the lavender by binding a large bunch together with wire and then ribbons. They sat on the tables. Because they were dryish, they were able to stand up without vases. They looked good and smelled wonderful. The fresh flowers also included the dried lavender.

| Plant A Wedding Garden

Weddings are expensive. A garden setting should be the least of your problems. I am planting a wedding garden today for $40. My daughter, Amy, is getting married in my back yard in August and I need masses of flowers for her special day.

| Sunflowers as Wedding Centerpieces
Centerpieces can be things you already have around the house. This is an antique pitcher that belonged to my Mama, I added some fresh cut sunflowers from a nearby field and ended up with a beautiful centerpiece for my reception tables that didn't cost a dime!

| Tin Can Wedding Flower Holder
Cute and inexpensive decoration for a country themed wedding is my tin can art. Just clean ordinary tin cans and hot glue a square of styrofoam into the bottom, adding whatever silk flower you choose.

| Making a Silk Bridal Bouquet
Thank goodness the days of HUGE Bridal bouquets has passed! Small, round bouquets with stems showing are being used more often in Weddings. Your local florist would be glad to bunch up a cluster of roses and tie with ribbon but believe me you'd pay dearly!

I'm getting married in October and would like the bridesmaids to carry sunflowers as there bouquet. If I plant sunflowers in late July or August, will they grow into October and be able to cut and use?

| Lilies as Wedding Flowers
Saw an old movie the other night and in it a bride was walking down the aisle with a bunch of 3 or 4 large lilies. Looked like those day lilies you often see reproduced, tied with a bow and worn sideways cradled in the bride's arm.
