Use Clear Nail Polish to Mend Scarves
Nylon scarves are great for hot weather as they don't crush, but they do snag. So when I got a tear in one of my favorite scarves, I wondered how to mend it, and make sure it wouldn't continue to run.

Use Hair Brush to Fluff Fleece Clothing
I have a pair of comfy fleece pants that I dearly love but like most fleece fabric they collect pet hair, lint and get ugly balls on them. They looked so bad I was about to throw them away when I came up with a solution.

Ways To Hide Bra Straps
To keep bra straps hidden, I have recommended the double stick tape (sometimes called "fashion tape" or such) between the dress and bra strap. A better idea, that is more re-useable, would be to sew in the oval spring clip type hair clips (child sizes) with a loose tack (so it moves a bit).

Number Socks to Match
I keep sock pairs matched so they are worn the same number of times, by numbering them when I take them out of a package. Starting with #1 on a pair, after washing simply match up the numbers.

Keep Your Feet Dry With Plastic Bags

Make Your Own Bra Strap Holders
Have you seen the mini-infomercials for the round plastic bra strap holders to allow you to convert your bra for inward-facing t-shirt straps - so that your bra doesn't show? I hate that.

Use Dresses for Shirts on Growing Girls
When my daughter's dresses are too short to wear, instead of giving them away, I sometimes use the dress as a very cute and frilly shirt paired with nice leggings or even jeans.

Wash New Clothes With Similar Colors
When you purchase new clothes in dark or bright colors, take advantage of the dye bleeding in the wash by adding faded clothes of the same color. The faded clothes will become brighter!

Layer a Cropped Turtleneck Under Blouses
Many times I find that I need something to fill in the neckline of a blouse or sweater, but don't want the bulk of a turtleneck shirt under it. Dickies sometimes do the trick, but I have found a better solution.
