Last year I had acrylic nails put on before going on a cruise. While on the cruise the sun tan lotion reacted with the nails and left a gummy finish on the acrylic. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to prevent this besides using plastic gloves to apply the lotion? Thanks.
Are you almost out of your favorite color of nail polish and can't afford to buy more this week? Then just get 2 bottles of different colors you have already, and mix them together to make a new color.
I bought one of those PediPaws that you see on TV to file your pet's nails and I can't get it anywhere near them. They just don't like the noise, so it's been sitting in the drawer since November. I was thinking, $20.00 down the drain.
I bought one of these in a plastic jar at the store a long time ago and I used it up. Put sponge in the jar to fit snugly. cut a hole in the middle to fit your finger. Pour nail polish remover in to fill jar and put cap on tightly.
I have a fingernail that always splits in the same place. There seems to be a ridge in the nail. If I get busy and don't keep the nail filed and buffed, the nail splits all the way to the quick. I have tried acrylic nail gel for repair but this kept chipping off.
