Craft Project: Halloween Skeleton Decoration
By Harlean Greathouse
These skeletons are great fun to make and hang around for Halloween. They can be made of wood 1/4 inch plywood. Easy to make from scraps. Or if you don't have the tools to do wood, you could make them with a sheet of art foam. I made mine about 17 inches tall, but you can reduce or increase the size to suit your wishes. My picture is of a wooden one.

Craft Project: Magnetic Teddy for the Fridge
By Harlean Greathouse
This little wooden bear has a magnet to be used for displaying a child's drawings. Made of wood, but this pattern could also be used with craft foam.

Craft Project: Soap Fish
This is a vintage pattern that was originally made with an oval bar of Sweetheart Soap. Since Sweetheart Soap is no more, you will have to improvise. The soap that I have used for this pattern was found at the Dollar Tree Store. The fish in the picture at the right is sitting on the box that the soap came in.

Craft Project: Baby Cradle Purse
By Harlean Greathouse
This is also sometimes called a Church Purse. It is crocheted using a dishwashing detergent bottle for a base. Any oval bottle will work. When it is closed it is a purse, and opened it is a baby cradle.

Craft Project: Cabbage Patch Sweater
This can be made for a Cabbage Patch Doll, or a newborn baby. It is a ripple style sweater, very quick to make. It is short sleeved. And great over a long sleeved shirt.

Craft Project: Soap Swan
This is a vintage craft from the 60's made from nylon net and a bar of soap. The kids could help with this one. I think the shape of the Dove Soap has changed so you may have to modify the pattern or the bar of soap to complete this project.

Craft Project: Rigatoni Reindeer Ornament or Pin
This is a good craft for the kiddies. They will need a little help with the hot glue gun, or you could substitute thick Tacky Glue. They can make it to hang on the tree or as a lapel pin.

Craft Project: Chill Chaser Shrug
This is my own version of a shrug. A shrug is a short sweater to chase a chill away. This would be a perfect Bed Jacket for a friend in the hospital. Or just to throw on when the nights are a little cool.

Craft Project: Raggedy Andy Pencil Holder
By Harlean Greathouse
Spray the can with the flesh color paint. Let dry. Add features to face with Sharpies, using picture as a guide. Start eyes about 1-1/2 inches from top of can and leave room for the bow tie at the base.
