Make Photocopies of Important Receipts
Store register receipts fade after a while. When purchasing large priced items I always photocopy the receipt and attach it to the warranty and/or owners manual in case the receipt is required at a later date to prove purchase.

Unemployed People Receive 20% K-Mart Savings
According to K-mart's website if a person is unemployed they can get an additional 20% savings on their own brand merchandise. There are a few requirements: ID and proof of unemployment.

Dial 99 During Recorded Telemarketing Call
Do you still get calls from telemarketers even though you're on the Do Not Call List? If you get a call from a recording, dial 99 while the recording is playing and then hang up. On quite a few automated systems, 99 is the code to delete your number from their database.

Watch Store Receipts For Contests
Lately I've been looking at my store receipts. Almost every time, I notice a website to go to to complete a satisfaction survey. You seem to either get coupons or a chance to win gift cards from the store.

Buy a Mac to Avoid PC Viruses
Next time you replace a PC plagued by viruses buy a Mac (Apple) computer and you will have no more virus issues. ;-)

Buy Coupons On Ebay
If you see a valuable coupon in your Sunday circulars or just have a product that you buy frequently, go to ebay. There are loads of sellers that clip and sell large quantities of a particular coupon for a very nominal fee.

Bath and Body Works Clearance Sales
Bath and Body works has their big annual clearance sales twice a year: in January and June. If you want to indulge yourself with some fancy-schmancy body wash, lotions, etc. These are the months to do it.

Buy Second Hand Appliances
We sold our 3 bedroom home and moved into what is known as a 2 bedroom apartment home. We sold all our appliances with the house because we just didn't want to move them.

Be Aware Where Your Christmas Goodies Are Manufactured
While shopping recently for peppermint candy canes to crush up and use in my holiday baking goodies. I searched several stores in my area, looking for U.S. made of these particular candies. Every candy cane, I found in Walgreens was made in Mexico.
