Very easy and cute ornaments :-) Have made dozens of these over the past quarter of a century and love seeing them on the trees of friends and family's homes who have kept them and still hang them :-)
I placed the photo under a piece of glass out of a frame that I decided was the right size. I then built a crushed glass Santa beard and hat around his face on a black crushed glass background as you can see.
To make this recycled snowman: paint flower pots white. Hot glue medium one on top of large one. Paint paper plate holder black, glue black flower pot on top of plate holder then to med pot. Decorate with scrap pieces for scarf, eyes and attach orange painted knob for nose.
Pen or pencil holder made from single mitten. To make face, glue eyes in place about half way down the Styrofoam ball. Poke pipe cleaner in place for nose. Use felt pen to draw a dotted smile.
Beautiful cards you can use for holiday notes or as gift tags, and they're easy to make! Cut cardstock into rectangles. Note cards will require larger rectangles than gift cards. Fold the rectangles in half to turn them into cards.
Fold the paper in half to make a triangle, then fold again. Starting from the folded edge, but parallel to the long side of the triangle, make 5 equal cuts, stopping about 1/4 inch from the opposite side.
