| Craft Project: Rose Beads
By Debra Frick
These beads are made from the petals of the rose. It is a great way to save the beauties of the spring and summer. When you wear any jewelry made with these beads the heat of your skin releases the fragrance of the roses they are made from. No need for extra perfume.

This fun floral craft is perfect for a centerpiece on the table, a small decoration, or a beautiful kid's craft. You just take some floral Styrofoam and arrange some fake flowers in it. You take twisted raffia, wind and glue it around the Styrofoam base, and voila, a fancy basket!

| Craft Project: Recycled "Wave" Petunia Baskets
I bought my mom a basket of those Wave petunias. After I potted them, she said she hated to throw away that shocking pink plastic basket they came in. I got to thinking that they would make cute silk flower arrangements.

A single rose is an elegant gift, no matter what the occasion. I have been making these since the early '70s.

| Craft: Easy Topiary
This topiary makes a nice wedding or housewarming gift without spending a fortune. It's a great way to use those decorative containers that are taking up cabinet space too. I used a sugar bowl that was missing it's lid.

| Summer Wreath
Use scissors to remove flower blossoms from stems. For some stems, you may need to use wire cutters. Use straight pins to attach the flowers to the front and sides of the wreath. Completely cover the straw and place flower types and colors randomly to create a flower garden effect.
