We bought a used minivan this winter and it was great. But now that it's getting warmer we can smell a bad odor, kind of like wet dog. What can we do to remove the stench? Thanks so much!
Forget the stain sprays for laundry, they never seem to do the job. Resolve rug cleaner in the pump bottle works wonderfully on clothes. Spray the stain, wait 5 minutes and wash, voila!
Someone came in from the outside and left snow prints on our carpet. When the snow melted it left dried salt footprints. I tried a spray on foam cleaner with no effect. The carpet is a dark gray shade and is a plush carpet.
How do I get the yellow out of my Ivory Piano keys without harming it. It has to be a child and animal safe substance. We have tried fingernail polish remover. Does this damage the keys?
If someone mistakingly uses a paper towel or newspaper for a coaster you may find youself with paper stuck to your furniture. Peel away as much of the paper as you can, then apply some olive oil to a clean rag. Apply the olive oil to the paper and the paper should remove easily.
An easy way to remove odor from hands is to NOT USE HOT WATER FIRST as it dialates the pores of the skin and the odor is sucked up into your flesh. Lather well first and start rinsing off above the lather; THEN you can use hot water if you like.
