Dig Up Bulbs
Dig up bulbs now for forcing during the winter. Put them in the refrigerator for about a month. Then plant them in pots and let them grow. Then they will be ready to plant for flowers at Christmas time.

Mark Your Bulbs
If you have different varieties and colors of flowering bulb, make stakes out of old miniblinds and write the color and type on the stake. It is always harder to remember the type and color after they bloom. This is especially helpful when you dig them up to divide them in the fall.
