I have a Craftsman Riding mower LT1000, 42 in. cut, 2007 model. It is leaking gas into the bowl where the carburetor is. The gasket is sealing, it's not leaking out there.
I just tried to start my push mower and the cord is sticking, not pulling out all the way. Also gas is squirting out of the carburetor every time I try. The mower ran fine last week. What could this be?
My lawn mower cord retracts, but the rectangular piece that the cord housing sits on turns. It has no tension and just spins. Consequently, the engine won't turn over. I believe the rectangular piece to be the flywheel or it is connected to the flywheel.
I was just outside using my lawnmower on my yard which hasn't been cut recently. While I was going through my backyard it quit. Multiple times. I need help. I also don't know much about fixing things so if you answer please try and put it in simple terms for me.
I have a Nixon riding lawn mower that has a broken bendix (starter). I am trying to get to the bendix, but there is a clip at the top that I guess snaps off some how. I don't want to break it because I don't know if I will have to buy a whole lot more parts if I break it.
I have a Troy-bilt riding lawnmower. For some reason the starter overheated and melted the green wire. Now the mower will not start. Do I need to replace my starter?
I have a 2008 Toro Z5000 riding lawnmower. All of a sudden it won't keep running. It starts no problem with the choke open, but as soon as you pull back on the throttle it stalls out. Any ideas? The air cleaner looks fine, also fuel filter. Gas seemed OK.
