Reusable Christmas Gift Tags
When I was a child, my mother would make special Christmas present name tags for me and my sisters. Using Christmas cards, we had received she would cut them out and decorate them using yarn, ribbon, lace, etc.

Scanned Christmas Card Wrapping Paper
We receive so many wonderful Christmas cards, that I thought it would be fun for those who are a tiny bit computer savvy to make their own custom Christmas wrapping paper from them for your special gifts.

Scented Christmas Gift Bags
I store my Christmas gift bags and tissue paper in a sealed plastic container along with 6 Christmas Spice scented tealight candles. The bags and tissue absorb and maintain the scent very well.

Use Photo Tags for Pre-Readers
We have a lot of little ones, (pre-readers), and come Christmas morning there is a big rush to open gifts. So to let everyone help give out the gifts and let Mom and Dad enjoy the activities, we came up with an easy name tag idea.

Use Maps as Wrapping Paper
This wrapping paper idea came from one of my friends years ago. Use outdated atlases and maps for colorful, cool-looking, and good quality wrapping paper. I use mostly for birthday gifts, but cut out a silhouette of Santa in his sleigh and/or reindeers and attach for Christmas gifts.

Use Christmas Plastic Tableclothes Instead of Tissue Paper
A few Christmas' ago, I purchased a few of the plastic table cloths on clearance after Christmas for only 25 cents each at Wal Mart and I wondered what can I do with these. Well I decided I'd cut small ones into 4 equal sections and large ones into 8 or 10 and use them instead of tissue paper.

Fabric Christmas Bags For Green Gift Wrapping
Wrapping Christmas gifts is easy for me, I started using cloth bags. I sewed them from Christmas cloth purchased after Christmas a few years ago. I made several for all my gifts in different sizes and shapes, used draw string in top to close them.

Wrap Presents With Foil
Instead of using wrapping paper (save a tree) for my smaller gifts, I used aluminum foil. It was much easier to wrap with than paper and I didn't have to use as much tape. I bought the longest, cheapest roll I could find. I ran out of gifts before I ran out of foil! Plus with a ribbon, it looks like more expensive foil paper. Very festive!
