Use a Magnet to Retrieve Pins and Needles
This one is for sewers, (or if you drop a nail when hanging a picture) whether you have a "bad" back or need to reach into a tight space, this works for me. Stick a magnet onto the end of a knitting needle or yardstick, etc. Then you can easily pick up those pins, etc. that always seem to fall where they cannot be reached.

Use Wood Ash for Cleaning
Have a chimney? Here's a different use for your wood ash. It could be used for any household cleaning needs that requires scouring. It can also be used in the garden as fertilizer and if you have a pen for livestock, the ash can be sprinkled on the floor and animal droppings before sweeping.

Masking Tape for Picking Up Small Items
Use masking tape sticky side out for easy clean up for small items like broken glass, glitter spills, tiny paper pieces. It makes a great lint brush, too!

Marking Cleaning Rags

WD-40 for Removing Stickers
Don't you just dread trying to remove the gummy, sticky residue from stickers on items you purchase (not including clothing)? Try spraying the sticker with WD 40, let it rest a minute and then gently scrape off.

Cleaning Glass Doors on Fireplace
We use our fireplace a lot. The inside glass doors to the fireplace have that thick dirty film on them from so many fires. I don't want to scrape the glass with a blade because I don't want it to have scratches on them.

Hand Sanitizer For All Purpose Cleaning
I have discovered an amazing new cleaning product. It cleans that awful overspray hair spray in the bathroom that gets everywhere like a breeze. It shines chrome like you wouldn't believe.

Toothpaste for Cleaning
Toothpaste is great for scuff marks, marker on flooring, brush marks on skidoo or on the visor of helmets even when someone bumps your car and leaves some of their paint on yours.
