I moved into a home where the previous owner used WD 40 on the door hinges to keep them from squeaking. Now I have oil residue on the walls behind the doors. How can I get oil off of painted walls?
I had a red candle sitting on a candle warmer on top of the old radiator (doesn't work anymore). My cat knocked the candle onto the carpet. I scraped as much of it as I could and vacuumed the rest.
This winter we started developing a dark or black substance on our plasterboard walls in the living room. It is slightly in the kitchen, very dark on the wooden cover over the attic in front of the bathroom doorway, and just slightly in the computer room behind the bedroom.
I recently spilled liquid laundry detergent on my wall. I can't get the stain off the wall. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have flat paint and I'm afraid that it will bleed through if I paint over.
