I live in a mobile home. The windows are double pane, the top window has a space of about 3 inches and does not come apart. How can I clean the insides?
Have any of you used a power washer or pressure washer to clean your home's windows? We have a power washer, and I'd like to use it to clean the windows. I'd welcome a few tips from those of you that have already cleaned your windows with one of them. Thanks.
I have Pella low-E glass windows, approximately 40 windows. To have them professionally cleaned is costing approximately $400. Due to the low-E glass they are difficult to clean. When I do it, if the sun shines in they look like they haven't been cleaned in ten years.
I ran out of paper toweling and I don't want to buy any more. I used a cloth baby diaper to wipe down my windows and mirrors. It works great - no streaks!! Now I just have to make my own glass cleaner with vinegar and water. It's those little things that sometimes make us thrifty people the proudest!
Here is a great inexpensive and ozone friendly tip for cleaning windows and mirrors. Alcohol vinegar is found in almost every household and is a very good cleaning agent.
When I wash my windows and later in the day the sun shines through, the window has smear marks. I have tried various cleaners and I still get smears which are hard to remove. Any suggestions?
