My cat urinated on a some clothes in my bathroom. I put it in my washer, now my washer smells like cat urine. When I wash anything else it comes out with that smell. Does anyone know what I can use to get the smell out? Please help.
I have a used pair of little girl's Gymboree espadrilles. They have a pretty floral (cotton?) print bow over the top of the foot area that has quite a bit of dirt on it, as does the heel of the shoe.
To get moisture or stink out of shoes, fill two old socks with baking soda and knot at the ends. Shove deep into the shoes and let them sit overnight. The shoes should be dry or very close to dry and any odor should be gone!
I need to safely remove rust stains on 60's era white GI-Joe jacket. Fabric is sturdy cotton. Jacket is decorated with small metal pieces and I don't want to damage or discolor the metal. Thanks.
My elderly mother washed her clothes with a container that had fuel oil in it instead of laundry detergent. How do I get fuel oil smell out of her clothes?
I can't stand having dirty sneakers. I used to use white shoe polish but it smells, takes a while to dry and can stain. I've found that using a Mr. Clean magic erase block (or similar store brand erase block) works wonderful at whitening even the oldest dingy sneakers.
