Spot Color Your Wedding Photos
This is one of my favorite pictures of my son's wedding. The photographer said this was very easy to do and could be done with any picture that he took. He used a digital camera to take all the wedding pictures. Just thought I'd share with this year's brides-to-be.

Skateboard Rail Grind
Getting the right angle, and composition in a picture isn't easy, but when my son was skateboarding with his friends, he took this shot, and I was blown away by how well it came out. For an amateur using a regular digital camera, he got all the components perfect.

Use Photos to Make Greeting Cards
I have not bought a greeting card of any kind for more years than I can remember. How easy it is to make all kinds of beautiful cards with personalized photos from your own computer.

Mounting Photo Collages
I have ten 12x18 collages, one of each of my 10 grandchildren. I cannot afford to frame each one, so would like ideas on how I might be able to mount them as a group on a wall. It would be okay to tack them onto something, but would like ideas about what that something might be. I have a nice wall by my entry door in a mobile home, that provides at least 80 inches of width.

Developing Old Film
I have 100 year old negatives and they are fading fast. I have tried many places to get them developed but no one will do it around here. I have tried Walmart, a photo shop, and even a tech school. I would like to know how to do it on my computer if possible but don't have any idea how. Any ideas?

Clever Ideas Using Photoshop
I designed this one for my daughter's 18th birthday. I googled People magazine covers, downloaded an image as something to go by and reset the magazine using photos of my daughter and my own captions. This was a big hit with everyone and I received numerous requests to do one for other people. Have fun!

Fix The Date When Changing Digital Camera Batteries
When changing the battery in your digital camera, be sure to check the date your camera thinks it now is. This never occurred to me and now all the pictures on my computer from my July vacation read that the pictures were taken sometime in September!

Family Vintage Photo Gift Idea
This is an inexpensive gift idea. I found a vintage photograph of a great-great-great aunt of my husband's riding a bull. It was too fabulous to do nothing with so I scanned it, made prints (about 18 cents each), and glued the photo to the front of blank note cards I got at a craft store (big pack of maybe 48, including envelopes, for about $5 with a coupon). I made sets of 12, tied them together with a pretty ribbon, and gave to people in my husband's family. They loved them!

Use Bright Clothing or Background in Outdoor Photos
When picture taking outside, I noticed the pics looked really dull. So I always get the kids to dress up in bright colored clothes or use bright back grounds. I also like using the sky as a background by letting the kids climb a tree, monkey bars or swing set take the picture looking up at them. The pics come out bright and beautiful. My photo books are filled with bright pics of the kids. They make great gifts for great grandpa too.
