Recycle Envelopes As Shopping Lists
I don't get junk postal mail anymore but I do receive bills that always have return payment envelopes. I pay my bills by phone or online now and just hate the idea of throwing those envelopes away.

When making quilts, I use old (clean) mattress covers for the fill. Cut to the size that you need.

Use Plastic Hooks to Hang Plastic Grocery Bags in Trash Bin
I like to recycle plastic grocery bags in my kitchen garbage container. I bought a package of self-adhesive plastic cup hooks at the dollar store and put two on the inside of the trash can on the right and two more on the left.

Uses for Parmesan Cheese Containers
Here is a way to recycle a Parmesan cheese shaker container. After washing it tonight, I filled it with powered sugar and it is now ready for my busy baking season! I can shake the powered sugar more evenly now. Hope other busy cooks find this tip a good one!

Use Cereal Liners in the Kitchen
To save money buying freezer bags, I use the cereal bags inside the box. They are really good and can be washed and reused again.

Use Grocery Sacks for Wrapping Packages
Simply cut out the bottom and slit down the side of a grocery sack. Use to wrap packages you mail. Why waste money on buying packaging paper when this works just as well!
