Use PayPal Instead of Credit Cards
I am really trying not to use credit cards for spending. I have a PayPal account. So every week I put money into my PayPal account. It can be 2, 3, 10 dollars or more. This way, when I come across something I want to purchase on-line, I can just pay for it from my PayPal account. It's also neat to treat it as a savings. For example if you put $10 a week in the account for 52 weeks, you will save an easy $520 at the end of the year you start savings.

Is It Really Priceless?
By Kelly Ann Butterbaugh
No matter what MasterCard executives want you to believe, those scenarios presented in their television advertisements are not priceless; in fact, they're quite expensive. The ads ask an array of appraisal questions all ending with the same answer - priceless.

Store Credit
By Kelly Ann Butterbaugh
The scenario is familiar. At the check out counter of the local department store, the clerk asks if you would like to apply for the store's credit card. As a reward for signing, you receive an instant discount in the amount of 10% or even 15%. Do you sign on? Before you do, think it over.

Keep Credit Card Receipts Around Card
I am not a fan of credit cards but do use them from time to time when I don't want funds tied up using a debit card or when I need to delay the payment on a large ticket item. It seems like when I use my card ONCE it loosens my resolve and I find myself swiping it more than I had budgeted! Since I usually use a debit card, here is my tip to put the restraint back in using my credit card:

Using Credit Cards Online
When using a credit card online, stick to using only one card and use only for that purpose. You can get one that has a low limit, like 300 dollars. That way if someone gets a hold of it, you do not have a big limit on the card.

Buy Gas With A Credit Card That Gives You Cash Back
Turn lemons into lemonade! This is how we turn the painful gas prices into a rewarding experience. If you don't already have a credit card that has rewards, research card companies that have great rewards.

Do You Need a Credit Card to Establish Credit?
Two years ago I found out the person who was supposed to be handling my finances never did. So, at the age of 54, I had to start over from zero. I recently got my first credit card and I'm sorry I did. This company is a monumental pain to deal with. I've thought of switching but everybody says all credit card companies are the same. Do you really need a credit card to establish credit?

Should I Close My High Interest Credit Card Account?
I have recently paid off all my credit cards. However, there is one that is still accruing a $10 monthly fee. The interest rate on the card is 33%. Should I close the card out and if so will it hurt my credit score?

Credit or Debit?
With only a few exceptions, you are better off sticking with credit cards and using debit card only to get cash at ATMs
