| Keeping Food Budget Down for Large Family

I would like any info on getting my food bill down to $20.00 a day for 2 adults and 4 kids 13,10,5,3. Is it possible? We will be adopting 2 or 3 more kids (they will be placed with us within 4 months). I need help keeping my food budget down. My husband needs meat. He's in construction. I can get away with maybe 1 meal a week no meat. Thanks.

When online shopping, I use the "defer billing code". That gives me the time to receive the products and review the products-condition of, it's what I ordered etc.

What appears to be a bargain, may not be. I love eBay, in fact, I sell and buy on eBay. I have learned the hard way to not get into bidding wars. Do your research on the item or items you are interested in, decide ahead of time what you are willing to bid and stick with that amount.

Gift cards are fun to receive, and I have gotten quite a few of them. When I use a card, and it still has a balance, I use a sharpie to write the amount that is available.

 In a time when materialism is at a high, the task of teaching children the value of a dollar becomes difficult. Someone recently told me, "What you teach your children in the first ten years of their lives is what molds them into the people they become." I've given this a great deal of thought, and I've decided that I want my son to be a man who understands the value of the things he owns.
