| Repairing Sheetrock

I recently removed some very old and very adhered wallpaper in my kitchen. Despite my best efforts, there are large and small areas where the top layer of the sheetrock came off with the paper. How do I prepare these areas for painting?

We would like to remove the Paneling on our living room. But whoever put it up Nailed and Glued it. We are not looking to paint it but we were wondering if anyone has removed the paneling and also removed the glue without ruining the drywall.

| Making a Faux Rock Wall
|
These 'rocks' are made of joint compound and were formed directly on the wall in stages. After each coat dried, I added more compound until I built up the rock. They aren't finished; I will add more color and will use real grout in between the rocks. This look continues across this entire wall and into my living room to give the room a warm and rustic look.

Everybody has had one or two. You know, those little hole or indentations in the walls - behind a door, or behind a picture. If you live in a home, hang a picture, or have children - accidents happen! But repairing those accidents is easy. I kid you not - even yours truly, Little Miss Fumblefingers, has done it! All you need is a little spackle compound, a putty knife, some 150-grit sandpaper, and some peel n'stick wallboard tape.

| Repairing Tiles and Dry Wall on a Shower Wall
|
|
I have a wall in my shower that had cracked tiles and started out to be a small hole but now it has grown. I am covering it with a poster board. I am wondering what to do to repair the sheetrock and retile it? Who would I call to help me fix this, a plumber or a contractor? Any suggestions?
