I have an old dining room set (26 yrs old) that I would like to bring out the finish on, or renew it with the least amount of work or bother. Is there maybe something that I could rub on with a cloth that wouldn't require a protective finish afterward?
I have one of those standing photo screens but it is a really dark color and the paint is chipped in several places. Since I don't like the color, I would really like to just paint it a lighter color like a cream or off white.
If you only have a bit of paint, and don't know the color code or don't have much money, these are some pretty ways to save a little time and still have a nice item.

I have a living room with a corner fireplace that I am trying to buy new furniture for. I want to maximize the space of the room as well as have a good space for seating to watch TV and entertain.
My husband converted a damaged coffee table into a display case and it is now my favorite piece of furniture. You need a coffee table that has a drawer in it as you need a table with a top piece and a bottom piece.
I recently put slip covers on my sofas. How do I keep them from slipping or getting messy after sitting on the sofas? It's a pain to adjust them every time someone sits on them. Many Thanks!
