Waterproof Chaise for a Deck
I recently saw an advertisement for a wonderful chaise for a deck. It was round and you lay on it in the summer time. I know summer is a long way off but I would like to plan ahead and make one of these for next year. The one I saw cost in the vicinity of $8,000.00 which is a bit 'over budget'.

Are Leather Couches Kid-Friendly?
Our current couch was a hand-me-down from my grandparents, and after 10 years of us owning it, it has about had it! I'm considering buying a new couch in the not so distant future. My aunt had a beautiful leather couch, and I loved it, so I'd be interested in buying one. But, I do have a 2 year old son.

By Arleen M. Kaptur
You've spent the entire day shopping for new furniture or accents for your home and yet nothing seems quite right. You come home exhausted and in ill spirits. You grab the newspaper to check out the ads and possibly something there will light up that spark in your eyes and put that spring in your step.

Inexpensive Furniture at Yard Sales
I have been able to get some great deals on furniture at yard sales! You really have to shop around because at one sale you may see a kitchen/dining room type chair for $12 and the next place something similar will be just $2. Chairs with damaged straw seats can be used outside as a planter.

The Complete Guide to Buying New (Or Old) Furniture
By Pamela Cole Harris
If you are like me, your investment in furniture has to last! It has to be durable, beautiful and a good buy for my money. You all know that a good buy doesn't necessarily mean cheap, but it does mean that the value in years of problem-free use.
