| Need Some Ideas for Making a Bed Frame
We recently moved into a new apartment and realized that our Queen size boxspring would not fit up the stairs into our bedroom. Our last bed frame broke, so we had just been using the boxspring and mattress on the floor.

| Building Furniture from a Kit
To save money on furnishings, get furniture kits instead of furniture that is already built. Building from a kit comes out just as well as ready built. It just requires a little effort and generally it is not that hard to follow instructions.

| Make a Wall Shelf Out Of An Old Dresser Drawer
Take a distressed old drawer and hang it on your wall for use as a wall shelf. You can make it look old or new with paint, even add contact or wallpaper to the inside for a cheerful look. And leaving the knobs on at the bottom can serve as hangers for chimes, mobiles, or whatever you choose, maybe even kitchen towels.

| How do I make a head board for my bed?
I do not have a head board for my bed. Does anyone have ideas on how to make one? I was thinking of getting pressboard and covering it with some foam them material?
Thank you in advance!

| Cheap Home Office Desk
Get two 2-drawer file cabinets for hanging files (metal $59, Plastic $38 at Staples or used for around $10) Set them up 2 feet apart, and lay a flat interior door on top. Unfinished, those are around $20. Put the lock cut-out at the back and bring all your cables neatly up through it. Done.

Nothing is more satisfying than creating a special piece of
furniture for your home! And probably no major furniture piece
allows more creativity than a coffee table. But you think you
are about as imaginative (and colorful!) as white walls and a
popcorn ceiling. Take heart! There are ways to release that
little creative spark you are sure just isn't there!

| Constructing My Own Bed
I am in the middle of designing props for my stage production however, I am stuck as I need to create a bed from scratch. If anyone knows anything, what materials I should use and why, as well as a step by step guide on how to do it, I would be very grateful.
Thanks
