Troubleshooting Pool's Suction Vacuum
My pool filter seems to be working fine, but when I plug my suction vacuum into it the filter pressure gets really high and I lose water pressure. My local pool store told me I should be vacuuming on the waste setting, but this just shoots water out into my yard.

Use Your Swimming Pool as a Garden
We used to have a swimming pool. We did not like to swim or spend so much money to keep the pool clean, it takes lots of money and time to keep it clean. I suggested we have it filled up with dirt so I could have a garden, We had it filled up, I had a very pretty garden all the year, very good idea.

Keeping Pool Full Of Water During Winter
Has anyone kept their swimming pool full of water throughout the winter months? It is from Wal-Mart with the white metal posts that hold up the sides and it makes a circle to hold the top edge of the pool up. It is not the one that has the ring on the top that you blow up to keep the pool upright

Getting an Old Pool Ready for Use
I have an above ground pool that has not been used for at least 5 years. We just moved into that house and want to use the pool. The pool has a pool cover but it has been weighed down by algae, bugs, and lots of dirty water. I need suggestions on what to do with the pool cover and all that dirty water and how to start using the pool.

Install a Locking Gate Around the Swimming Pool
If you're going to have a swimming pool, go ahead and invest more money to put a fence around it with a locking gate. So many youngsters so fascinated with the water, try to go out to the pools with their guardians knowledge and fall in, not realizing they can't swim and drown each summer.

What "Jandy" Do You Use?
I would like to know if any of you have an inground swimming pool, what brand and type of 'Jandy' do you use? Seems like we have to replace ours every Summer! We have been buying 'Hayward Navigator' at the cost of $300.00 from a catalog 'In the Swim' and the cost is just getting to be too much.
