Would like to know how to clean old tools. Some are rusty but most are in good condition. They have been stored for some time and not used. Pliers, Wrenches, etc.
Don't own a rubber mallet? Just cut a slit in a tennis ball and place it on the head of your hammer. Keep the tennis ball in your tool box and you will always have it handy.
A good place to store saw blades is in unwanted record album covers. If you don't have any record albums just visit garage sales on Sunday when people are closing down their sale. You likely find someone will to give away some records.
Some DIY Maintenance will put Used tools back in Main Stream Operation: Professional grade tools are made to withstand long hours of use and abuse. Many home shops have a number of Professional grad tools but for the most part most home shops have tools that are some what less in quality.
Does the top of your table saw look bad? Brighten its appearance by spraying it with rust remover or WD-40. Then scour with #3 steel wool pads on a pad sander. Surfaces will shine like new after a few minutes work. Be sure not to saturate the sanders felt pad.

Circular saws have become more than a tool that you will just find at a construction site. From the early days of work on construction sites cutting only wood circular saws now are found in almost every home of a do-it-yourselfer and can cut not only wood but with the purchase of some specialty blades can now cut wood, masonry, metal and plastic.
There are a number of things that every wood worker needs to know when they are working with power tools (to a lessor extent, hand tools). Some things are plainly obvious but others are often overlooked.
