Making Your Own Wine or Beer
Have you ever thought of making your own wine or beer. Do it yourself kits are out on the market. For wine, either grow your own grapes or buy some from someone nearby. In advance, gather as many bottles with lids, wash and sterilize them, allow to dry completely.

Homemade Drinkable Yogurt
My kids LOVE the Danimals brand drinkable yogurts, but they are such small servings and quite expensive. I make my own drinkable yogurt in a glass or plastic drink shaker.

Homemade Electrolyte Solution
Here is a recipe for homemade Pedialyte. It is very important for babies and children not to become dehydrated when they're sick! Use instead of juice or milk for diarrhea, vomiting, and fever. This will not aggravate a sick tummy.

Bring Your Own Coffee
I like to have a cup of coffee on my way to work. Sometimes I spend a dollar on this luxury. About a month ago, I was at Gordon Foods in Michigan (they are a institutional food supplier with retail outlets). I went to the paper products aisle and found styrofoam cups (a variety of sizes) and lids to go with them. The price was very reasonable. Now I take a cup of coffee from home in one of these. Probably costs me an additional 10 cents (I would have thrown the left over coffee in the sinK. Now I drink it on the way to work. Sure makes traffic jams and train crossings more bearable. -Cindy from Michigan

Chocolate Milk Using Hershey's Cocoa Powder
Does anyone have a recipe to make chocolate milk using Hersheys Cocoa Powder. I have two children who love chocolate milk and I was thinking maybe making milk this way would be less expensive. Any ideas? Melissa

Make Your Flavored Coffees
International Coffee, Cafe Francais flavor, has had me hooked for years. I have often wondered what combination of ingredients would most closely taste like the real thing. Does anyone happen to know how to replicate this coffee? Thanks, and Happy New year! Mary in Wildwood

Make Your Own Coffee Filter
Wake up looking forward to your coffee and realize you've run out of filters? Can't decided whether you should cry and hug the maker or drop and kick it? Well if you've got plain white paper towels you've got coffee (your secret best-friend) to get you through. Just make it into the shape of a cone and trim excess paper towel from top. Viola! Now get your cranky behind a cup of Joe and don't forget to pick up filters on the way home from work. By Suzanne S.
