When making paper logs for fuel from newspapers, don't bother purchasing a commercial machine. In my experience they don't work very well. (I gave mine away!)
Does anybody know how to make a homemade water based concrete stain? I have a project that I am doing; I need a small amount of brown color and a moderate amount of green. I hate to have to purchase a whole gallon of each color for just small areas.
Need a funnel in a pinch? Cut off the bottom of a 2 liter or 1/2 liter bottle. This works great, and only costs 10 cents (which is the deposit price in Michigan). You can make it as tall or short as you want.
