Tired Of Losing Your Small Leftover Packages In The Freezer?
Today I gathered all of mine up from all over the shelf and placed them in a wire basket. Suddenly, everything is easier to find and if someone wants a quick meal, I can tell them to go to the freezer basket.

Keep a List Of What You Have
Keep a list of all the foods in your fridge and freezer on a dry erase board and add/subtract foods as you eat/replenish them! It is great for being able to scan and see what you can make or what you need at a quick glance!

Organize Your Leftover Containers in Four Easy Steps!
By Monica Resinger
It was time to organize my leftover containers that are kept in a kitchen cupboard on a slide out shelf. I didn't realize how long it had been since the last time I did this until I got to the bottom of the shelf and found things I'm ashamed to tell. I will tell you that there were containers I had forgotten I had because they were buried so deep.

Keep Leftovers In Small Containers
Before putting something in the fridge as a leftover make sure it is in the smallest container it can be, so it will take up less space and cost less to keep cool. No sense in keeping cool a whole crock pot when there's only one bowl left of soup. By Melanie

Keeping Track of What You Have
Sometimes I get carried away by specials or forget I already have a lot of something and buy more. After my last pantry cleaning, I posted two lists on the refrigerator. One titled "do not buy" which lists the items I am oversupplied with. The other is titled "use up" and lists the items that need to be used first, such as frozen vegetables or fruits. I preserve a lot of foods so this helps me keep current and gives me ideas for meals when I need inspiration. By Lynn

Refrigerator Lazy Susan
They actually make one for the 'fridge that has a corner portion that keeps it in place better than the round lazy susan. It is clear plastic and a good size. I find it very convenient!

Organizing Frozen Veggies
I always try to have frozen veggies on hand, and often use less than a full bag at a time. To keep from losing these partial bags, I keep a plastic crate/box without a lid in the freezer, and that is where all my frozen veggies go.The I know quickly if I still have a half bag of peas or if I should open a new one!
