How to Make a Plastic Bag Storage Container
Take a piece of fabric, fold it over and sew side. Hem each end leaving space for the draw string. Run a draw string at the top with a string to hang the container on a nail. Run elastic around the bottom and pull together. Put your plastic bags from the store in them. If you need one pull from bottom.

Have Garbage Bags Instead of Cans in The House
I am quite a fanatic about having garbage cans in my house. Truth is, we don't have them. We recycle the plastic grocery bags and hang them on a hook in the kitchen. They fill up quite quickly, but when full, outside they go to the large garbage can. There is never a smell of garbage in the house whatsoever. We also use the grocery bags as trash can liners in the bathrooms. Once full, out they come, using the handles to tie them shut, and into the garbage can outside they go.

Put Your Shredded Documents In A Paper Bag
I try to shred my junk mail and papers that has any ID information. I was putting the shredding into a walmart bag, but that is not very green for the land fill, so now I put it into paper bags and staple the top. I would rather find a way to recycle it, but this is better than the plastic bag.

Nest Items To Fit Into Trash Better
Save money and use less trash bags. I try to flatten boxes that cereal, cake mix, crackers etc.comes in. This way I can get more trash in the trash bag before it needs replaced. Small cans can fit inside larger ones to also reduce the space needed.

A Plastic Bag Dispenser
To organize your plastic bags, try making a plastic bag dispenser. With the plastic bag dispenser, you can now store your plastic bags nicely. Simply fold each plastic bag and drop it into the dispenser and retrieve it at the bottom of the box when you need it.

Smashing Cans Flat To Save Space
Smashing Cans Flat To Save Space. We used to do this when I was a child and, to this day, I still do it for two reasons. When I open a can of food, after I empty it, I cut out the other end and put the lid inside then step on it to mash it flat.
