Store Seasonal Clothes With Dryer Sheets
I use dryer sheets (such as bounce, etc) to keep my out-of-season clothes smelling fresh and ready to wear. By simply placing a dryer sheet on the hanger, your clothes will be ready for you to wear when the seasons change once again.

Use Ziplock Bags for Space Saving Storage
Ziplock bag come in some very large sizes now. I recently tried using a vacuum hose to suck the excess air out like the space bags that are advertised but are expensive. It worked! I'm now going to use these to pack my bins for the next move.

Storing Gift Wrap Under The Bed
I use one of those under the bed storage boxes for organizing my gift wrapping. Along with all the wrapping paper (including some I have recycled). I keep scissors and cellophane tape, ribbons, sticky labels and card tags along with birthday cards and a few left over Christmas cards.

Recycle BG Strip Containers For Storage
Diabetics who need to test their BG get their strips to use in very nice air tight containers, and may end up with an abundance which they probably toss.

Don't Let Stored Wood Furniture Get Too Hot
This is just an additional tip on storing wood furniture. Store it in a dry, well ventilated area, but one that does not get too hot. The wood might dry out and crack.

Use Old Socks for Packing
I was needing to pack some highly breakable items they are very sentimental to me and I didn't want them to break while I have to store them. I didn't have bubble wrap or newspaper but I did have a million old socks so I decided to use them for my packaging.

Don't Use Cardboard For Long Term Storage
If you are storing long-term, do not use cardboard boxes. Anything can happen to them, be it roof leakage or bugs or mice.
