Chocolate Walnut Squares
Nice to serve at Christmas time. Thin cookie like squares are quick and easy to make. Stir together 1/2 cup of the walnuts, cocoa, flour and salt; set aside. In large bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.

Pecan Pie Bars
A very delicious blondie packed full of roasted pecans. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Take chopped pecans, or pecan halves, and pulse in food processor until they are very fine. Spread them out on a cookie sheet and roast for 8-10 minutes, just until they are fragrant.

Kit Kat Bars
I have found that these are bigger than regular kit kat bars and they are also cheaper to make. They are more healthy then those store bought ones too. You can get 2 dozen wafer bars at the dollar store.

Raspberry Almond Shortbread Thumbprints
You can use any flavor of jam instead of raspberry if you would like to. My next favorite is apricot. Combine butter, sugar and almond extract in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy.

Chocolate Crinkles
This is a fudgy type cookie (think brownies)I like it because it is low in fat and very chocolaty. One usually has these items in the pantry.
