Tips for Freezing Leftovers
I live alone, but when I cook I make recipes for a family, then put portions into small 1 or 2 cup containers and put them in the freezer. Then I take them out when I want them. However, often when I do, they are freezer burnt and I have to toss them!

Save and Refill TV Dinner Plates
When TV dinners were on sale, I purchased a number of them. We used these dinners when we were in a hurry rather than eating fast food. When done, I washed and saved the "plate".

Use Turkey for Freezer Meals
I make our own TV dinners so I can control the salt content and avoid other additives. I make up dinner for two on each plate, cover with freezer wrap and freeze. Whenever we are running late, we can take out a plate, heat it and dinner is ready.

Meals For A Freezer Swap
I am going to a freezer swap on Friday. I am looking for easy, cheap, relatively healthy meals that can be frozen, and then shared with friends. Thanks in advance!

Freeze Dinners for Entire Month in an Afternoon
In just three hours, I made dinners to freeze for the entire month. I do this each month and it's so much easier than freezing the raw meat, then thawing it then cooking. This way, the kitchen is only hot for a few hours.

Freezing Produce In Paper Bags
I learned this freezing method from a friend who puts up produce from a very large garden every year. She freezes Okra, green beans, bell peppers, zucchini and yellow squash, Purple hull peas, and more this way. Use brown paper lunch bags.

Making Your Own Frozen Meals
My family really likes eating the frozen pre-packaged meals like Voila! or some of those Banquet meals found in the frozen aisle. Often times I have thought that I could make them on my own at home (frozen chicken, pasta, and vegetables), but I always get stuck on the sauce. Does anyone have ideas/recipes for what kind of sauces/seasonings I could pair with those ingredients? I'm not looking for marinara or obvious pasta sauces, but something like what you'd find in those frozen meals. Thanks!
